04 / What is the ISO
There are 10 clauses in the ISO 9001:2015 standard supported by multiple sub-clauses. Clauses 4-10 cover the requirements for application of the standard. Hence, you must satisfy the requirements between clauses 4-10 in order to be successfully certified in ISO 9001:2015.

internal and external issues in ISO 9001?
The organization will determine the external and internal issues which can be considered as the context of the organization. External issues can include cultural, social, political, legal, regulatory, financial, technological, economic, and competitive environment, at the international, national, regional, or local level. Internal issues typically include the organization’s corporate culture, governance, organizational structure, technologies, information systems, and decision-making processes (both formal and informal).

appoint a Quality Officer?
No, you will not be required to appoint a Quality Officer. However, it is recommended to appoint someone as the Management Representative (MR) who will assist the consultants & take the responsibility of getting the organization certified by successful project completion.
09 / My company is very
small. Can I get certified?
Yes undoubtedly. We have worked with multiple companies comprised of just 1 or 2 members who wanted to get certified. The processes that you will put in place would have the same intent as a much larger company; it is just that the implementation will be simpler. We work with organizations to assist them in balancing the appropriate level of documentation with what is necessary to meet the standard requirements.

ISO 9001 registration and certification?
The cost of getting certified in ISO 9001 will vary depending on the size and complexity of your organization and on whether you already have some elements of a quality management system (QMS) in place.
